Jeff Daniel is an Associate in the Atlanta office. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. During law school he was a member of the Mercer Law Review and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Marc T. Treadwell in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. Following graduation, Jeff was inducted into the Brainerd Currie Honor Society for his outstanding academic achievement and service to the law school. For excelling in Trial Practice, Evidence, and Civil Procedure courses, he received the Student Advocacy Award from the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. Prior to law school, Jeff earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia, where he served on the University of Georgia Judiciary.

Practice Areas


Jeff provides a variety of legal services to school districts and educational institutions. He has significant experience defending them in civil rights lawsuits; whistleblower actions; claims based on special education services; and employment litigation. Drawing on his expansive litigation background, Jeff also counsels his educational clients in day-to-day matters, such as: school board governance, policy, and procedure; compliance with new legislation; navigating personnel issues; and evaluating requests for disability-related accommodations and services. Most recently, Jeff was involved in the defense team that secured the dismissal with prejudice of several civil rights claims against a school district.
