Lauren Dimitri is an associate in Hall Booth Smith's Columbus office. She received her bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia, graduating magna cum laude in 2004. Lauren then attended the University of Georgia School of Law, where she completed her J.D. in 2007. While at the University of Georgia, she served as notes editor for The Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. In addition, she participated in the Student Bar Association and the Women Law Student Association.
Prior to joining HBS, Lauren worked as an associate at Page, Scrantom, Sprouse, Tucker & Ford, P.C. in Columbus. While there, Lauren gained extensive experience in commercial and consumer collections and insurance defense. She also gained valuable experience in the areas of products liability and other tort law, employment litigation and general civil litigation.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys sports and the outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, Tony, and their children, Cayden and Carrington. Lauren and Tony are both lifetime residents of Columbus.
Ms. Dimitri is committed to helping employers avoid, resolve and prevail in employment disputes involving the full range of employment and labor issues. This includes litigation in state and federal courts and the representation of employers before administrative agencies over claims including: discrimination, harassment, retaliation, accommodation, and state torts such as negligent supervision and hiring, intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress, defamation, invasion of privacy, and wrongful discharge allegations.
