Overview

Crighton Allen earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served as a member of the Editorial Board and Executive Board of the Georgia Law Review. In his role on the Executive Board, Mr. Allen served as Senior Notes Editor. Mr. Allen’s own student Note was published in the Georgia Law Review. He also competed on the mock trial team, reaching the quarterfinals in one prestigious national tournament during his third year. Mr. Allen served as Summer Associate at Hall Booth Smith following his second year. 
Mr. Allen attended Washington & Lee University as a George Washington Honor Scholar for his undergraduate studies, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in European History, cum laude, and was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa. 
As a member of the Insurance Coverage practice group, Mr. Allen routinely counsels clients on coverage issues that arise throughout the southeast. He provides coverage opinions and other guidance to major insurers on complex coverage issues and bad faith cases. In addition to coverage work, Mr. Allen's practice also focuses on business and commercial litigation, as well as the defence of product manufacturers, accountants and other professionals in malpractice and negligence actions, and businesses of all sizes in general liability matters. Through this work, he has obtained experience in all stages of litigation, including early valuation and strategy considerations, managing pleadings and written discovery, motions practice, and preparing fact and expert witnesses for depositions and trials.
