William Gordon is a partner in the Atlanta office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. Mr. Gordon received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999 from the University of Alabama, and his Juris Doctorate in 2004 from New York Law School. Mr. Gordon was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2004, and the State Bar of Georgia in 2010. During law school, Mr. Gordon clerked for the Honorable William A. Shashy in the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of Alabama in Montgomery.
Mr. Gordon has represented hospitals, physicians, nurses and other medical staff involving a broad scope of areas and claims involving birth trauma, emergency medicine, catastrophic injury and wrongful death. Mr. Gordon has significant litigation experience in these areas, and recently assisted with obtaining a defense verdict in a wrongful death/malpractice claim in early 2013. Mr. Gordon also advises his clients regarding proactive measures to minimize risk and adopt practices that are consistent with the safe and effective operation of medical facilities.
