Ms. Rizzi is a native of Alexandria, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary in 1994. She received her J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., in 2001, graduating summa cum laude. After law school, Ms. Rizzi served as a law clerk to the Honorable Welton Curtis Sewell, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria Division. She began her career at the prestigious Washington, D.C. firm of Steptoe and Johnson LLP before moving to Georgia.
Throughout her career, Ms. Rizzi has been involved in complex civil litigation, medical malpractice defense, trucking litigation, premise liability, and general insurance defense. In addition, Ms. Rizzi has handled complex, high asset domestic disputes and has an active practice representing physicians and their medical practices in general matters.
Ms. Rizzi has been peer rated “AV” with Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating a lawyer can receive. In addition to Georgia, Ms. Rizzi is licensed to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
