Renasant Place is a 15 story, class-A office building strategically located in the heart of the downtown Birmingham. The HBS Birmingham office is led by HBS partner, David W. Proctor.

Proctor is an Alabama native, received his undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University in 1981, followed by Juris Doctorate from The University of Alabama School of Law in 1984. He has extensive experience in torts, insurance and product liability defense work, with an emphasis on defending physicians and other healthcare providers in claims of medical malpractice.  Proctor is recognized by both Alabama Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America for Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury.
