Cathey Turner is the Firm Administrator for Hall Booth Smith, P.C. where she has overall management responsibility for all offices. Joining the firm in 2007, Cathey previously served as the Human Resource Manager for the firm. Receiving her Bachelors Degree from Brenau College in Gainesville, Georgia, Cathey pursued her paralegal certificate from the Gainesville College paralegal program and holds the CP (Certified Paralegal) designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants.

She has an extensive and varied legal background with experience in software training, human recourses, legislative affairs and lobbying, paralegal education, and management. She is a current member of the Association of Legal Administrators and the Atlanta and Middle Tennessee chapters of ALA. She previously served on the boards of Tennessee CASA, Middle Tennessee Associates of Legal Administrators and Middle Tennessee Paralegal Association. She is an adjunct instructor and guest lecturer for Athens Technical College Paralegal Program in Athens, Georgia, and serves on their paralegal program advisory board. She conducts an annual career roundtable and resume writing, interviewing skills seminar for Athens Tech. She speaks frequently to paralegal programs throughout the Southeast. Cathey is a board member of the Atlanta Lyric Theatre and is an avid ballroom dancer.
