Nathan Mauer is an associate in Hall Booth Smith’s Nashville office with significant experience in wrongful death, medical malpractice, labor and employment, long term care, and premises liability matters. Nathan has defended clients in a wide variety of litigation, ranging from claims based on motor vehicle and construction accidents, commercial and contractual disputes, discrimination claims, landlord-tenant disputes, § 1983 claims, and others.
Prior to joining HBS, Nathan served as an Assistant Attorney General with the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office and Assistant General Counsel for the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
Nathan received his undergraduate degree from Samford University in Birmingham, AL, with a B.A. in History. He received his Juris Doctorate in 2010 from the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, TN.
