Hall Booth Smith Oklahoma City Welcomes New Associate

The Oklahoma City office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. is pleased to announce that Daniel Gilliam has joined the firm as an associate. Daniel will support clients in the areas of general liability and medical malpractice.
“We are thrilled to welcome Daniel to our team,” said Michael Heron, managing partner of the Oklahoma City office. “He impressed us during his time as a summer associate with his strong analytical skills and dedication, and we know he will be an outstanding advocate for our clients.”
During his time as a summer associate at HBS, Daniel gained practical experience conducting legal research, analyzing medical records, preparing deposition summaries, and assisting in client and expert meetings to develop case strategies.
He previously externed for the Honorable Judge Brian Goree at the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals, where he analyzed appellate cases and drafted legal memoranda. He also served as a legal intern with the Administrative Office of the Courts at the Supreme Court of Oklahoma, assisting with statutory updates, editing legislative materials for the OSCN website, and supporting the Oklahoma judicial conference.
Daniel earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he graduated in the top five of his class and received eleven CALI Awards. While in law school, he was a member of the law review, an academic fellow, and a peer mentor. He received his B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
In addition, Daniel has formal training in civil mediation through the Supreme Court of Oklahoma’s Alternative Dispute Resolution program.
