Two New Associates Join Hall Booth Smith in Birmingham Office

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is pleased to announce that Katy Beth Crowe and Kaitlyn Fowler have joined the firm’s Birmingham office as associates, further strengthening its growing team in Alabama.

Katy Beth Crowe focuses her practice on general liability, health care, and medical malpractice matters. Before joining HBS, she gained diverse legal experience through externships and clerkships with The University of Alabama System Office of Counsel, Shipt, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. During law school, she also served as a summer associate at Hall Booth Smith, gaining hands-on experience in civil litigation. Katy Beth earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from The University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of the Law & Psychology Review and held several leadership positions, including President of the Bench & Bar Honor Society.

Kaitlyn Fowler focuses her practice on general liability matters. She previously spent multiple summers clerking at Hall Booth Smith, supporting attorneys in research, drafting, and case preparation. Kaitlyn also served as a law clerk with the Office of the Attorney General in Montgomery, Alabama. She earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, where she was Director of Mediation on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and Senior Associate Editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. She holds a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in psychology from Georgia Southern University.
