Biography

Kaley Bonett is an associate in the firm’s Nashville office, where she focuses her practice on entertainment law, intellectual property, and insurance litigation.

Kaley brings her background in the entertainment industry to her legal practice. Before graduating from law school, she gained hands-on experience working with leading organizations including SoundExchange, Sofar Sounds, The Walt Disney Company, Universal Creative, and Persistent Management. Through these roles, she developed a deep understanding of the business and legal complexities in music, live entertainment, and media.

She has drafted entertainment agreements, prosecuted trademarks and copyrights, and advised on business formation matters for entertainment clients nationwide. Kaley also has experience conducting legal research, preparing litigation documents, and advising on insurance coverage issues.

Kaley earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she was a Dean’s List honoree and served as Senior Editor of the Florida Entertainment and Sports Law Review. She was also President of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society and served as a Student Liaison to the Florida Bar Entertainment and Sports Law Section.

She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Business/Management from Berklee College of Music, where she was a published author for the Music Business Journal and served as an Entertainment Law Consultant for the Harvard Recording Artist Project.
