Andrew Tyner is an Associate in our Atlanta office where he focuses his practice on aging services, medical malpractice, and other health care matters. He represents a range of providers including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, hospices, and personal care homes in all phases of litigation.
As a member of the Coronavirus Strategic Team, Andrew defends providers from liability claims arising from the COVID-19 Pandemic – notably as part of the trial team defending a batch of COVID-19 cases in a month-long trial in Kansas. Andrew also maintains a regulatory practice. As part of that practice, he advises providers on regulatory compliance and assists with internal investigations, risk management, and policy development.
Andrew earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia, where he competed on the Mock Trial Team and served on the managing board of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. He holds two Bachelors of Arts in both International Relations and Political Science from the University of Georgia.
