Christian Ferlan is a Partner in our Charlotte, North Carolina office. He focuses his practice on defending law enforcement agencies and local governments against complex civil rights claims involving the First, Fourth, and Fourteenth Amendments, the North Carolina Constitution, and state law, including trials and appeals in state and federal court. He has also worked with local governments to draft and revise ordinances implicating the same rights, ensuring that the policies align with evolving legal standards and community needs. Christian has also worked with individuals, long-term care facilities, and other businesses to defend a wide variety of professional negligence and general liability claims and advised on matters involving real estate transactions, zoning compliance, and government relations.
Christian earned a Juris Doctor with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
