David Pan
Biography
David Pan is an Associate in our New York City office. Coming from a family of health care professionals, he has chosen to focus his practice on long-term care, medical malpractice, and general liability cases. David started his career as a criminal and juvenile justice prosecutor before transitioning to civil practice in 2021. He gained civil experience defending the City of New York from personal injury lawsuits with the NYC Law Department. He also took plaintiff depositions and defended City depositions, engaged in regular motion practice, and evaluated and targeted cases for settlement by making requests for authority to the City Comptroller.
He graduated from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Team, participated in the Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition, and edited for the Fordham Urban Law Journal. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Public Policy and American Institutions from Brown University.
David is a frequent volunteer judge at college and law school mock trial competitions and a self-taught chess competitor.
