Dylan P. Angeline
Biography
Dylan P. Angeline is an associate in our Birmingham office, where he practices in business litigation, general liability, government affairs, health care advisory services, labor and employment, and medical malpractice matters.
Prior to joining HBS, Dylan served as a senior health policy legal analyst with Aptive Resources, where he led development for national health care practitioner scopes of practice and pandemic responses. He also served on the UAB Strategic Planning Council, advising on and collaborating with the office of general counsel to navigate state certificate of need requests, telehealth implementation, and other regulatory matters.
Dylan also previously worked for a regional litigation boutique, and brings extensive experience in the defense of medical malpractice, professional liability, and general litigation matters to the firm. He has successfully defended medical malpractice claims against numerous healthcare entities including substance abuse clinics, large academic medical centers, and surgical centers. He has handled transportation and general liability matters for national insurance carriers and self-insured defendants. He has also successfully argued matters of first impression before the Alabama Supreme Court.
Dylan earned his Juris Doctor from Samford University, and has two Masters from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Dylan acts as director for the non-profit organization Alabama Veteran and Dovetail Landing, which provide behavioral health counseling, skills training, and targeted financial assistance to recently discharged service members and veterans.
