Andrea L. Jolliffe Named Partner at Hall Booth Smith, P.C.
Congratulations to Andrea L. Jolliffe for being named partner of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. Ms. Jolliffe has been with the firm’s Athens office since December 2006.
Ms. Jolliffe devotes the majority of her practice to the defense and representation of educational institutions. She has helped defend educational institutions at both the trial and appellate level, and she has also helped institutions avoid trial through her legal expertise. In addition to advising and counseling elected officials and school administrators, Ms. Jolliffe also is a regular speaker on many educational issues, including special education and student records.
Ms. Jolliffe has been practicing law since 2002. Prior to joining Hall Booth Smith, she served as an Assistant Director for Legal Affairs at the University of Georgia and provided legal counsel on a variety of post-secondary issues. She is a native of the Washington, D.C., area, and she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. While attending the University of Maryland School of Law, she clerked with the U.S. Department of Justice. Upon completing her J.D., she was awarded a public interest fellowship with Atlanta Legal Aid Society.
