About the Attorneys
Rodney P. Favors, Jr.
Rodney’s practice is concentrated in government liability, education, and government affairs matters. As part of the education service area, he advises clients on special education law and defends school district clients in connection with claims under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Prior to joining HBS, Rodney interned for the Office of the City Attorney in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he gained legal experience in local government, employment, and land use. Rodney also served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. As a member of the Trial Services Office, Legal Services Support Team Parris Island, he directly supported the military justice and defense sections in court-martial proceedings.
Sora Kang
Sora practices in medical malpractice, health care, general liability, international business, and business litigation matters. Prior to joining HBS, Sora worked as an associate at a civil defense firm, where she gained experience in representing general liability and business litigation cases. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jason B. Thompson with the Fayette County State Court.
