Biography

Henry Fletcher is an associate in our Atlanta office, focusing his practice on health care and aging services matters.

Formerly a summer associate with HBS, Henry also externed at the United States Department of Health and Human Services in the Office of the General Counsel, and was a litigation and regulatory legal extern at The Coca-Cola Company. He also gained valuable experience interning at Ernst & Young, LLP in the forensic & integrity services practice.

Henry earned his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University, where he was a member of the mock trial team and served as a graduate research assistant for the Phillip C. Cook Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic. While at GSU, he was awarded a Dean’s Scholarship and the Atlanta Bar Foundation’s Dean R. Morley Tax Clinic Award. He was also a J.B. Moore Family Fellow and a Michelle & James Young Fellow. He earned his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Journalism from the University of Georgia.

CMS Final Rule Increasing Minimum Staffing Standards in Nursing Homes Challenged in Texas, Iowa Federal Courts

In response to and in an effort to block the expanded staffing requirements, the Attorney General of Texas filed suit in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and recently, twenty state Attorney Generals filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Iowa.
