K. Phillip Luke
Biography
Phillip Luke is a Partner in our Birmingham office with over 30 years of experience. He specializes in appellate, business litigation, construction, general liability, insurance coverage, premises liability, products liability, professional malpractice, transportation, and trusts and estate matters. Phillip is also a registered mediator with the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution.
Phillip has represented both individuals and entities in many types of civil litigation including disputes over trusts and estates, claims for defamation, stockholder disputes in closely-held corporations, products liability, legal malpractice, appraiser malpractice, commercial transportation, and standard insurance defense matters. Prior to joining Hall Booth Smith, Phillip was a name partner at a civil trial and appellate firm in Birmingham.
He earned his Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Mississippi State University. In his spare time, Phillip enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and supporting Mississippi State Athletics.
