Kehinde Winful
Biography
Kehinde Winful is an associate in our Denver office, where she practices in a variety of matters, including business litigation, correctional health care, general liability, health care, intellectual property, labor and employment, and medical malpractice.
Before joining HBS, Kehinde was a commercial litigation associate at another Denver law firm, where she worked on contract disputes, general and premises liability in different sectors ranging from oil and gas to software licensing and vacation rental companies. During law school she gained experience as an intern in the criminal appeals section with the Colorado Office of the Attorney General. She also interned with the American Society of International Law and the Ghana Legal Resources Centre.
Kehinde received her Juris Doctor, with a pro bono distinction, from the University of Colorado. Before going to law school, she received her Master of International Development with a major in Human Security, along with a graduate certificate in African Studies, from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. At Loyola University Chicago, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in English—Creative Writing with a Minor in Women and Gender Studies.
In her spare time, Kehinde likes to write literary fiction and poetry. She has been published several times, and her first book, Flooding the River, will be out in 2025.
