Lauren Riley Barr
Biography
Lauren Riley Barr is an Associate in our Tampa office who focuses her practice on general liability, medical malpractice, aging services, and premises liability matters.
Prior to joining HBS, Lauren was an Associate for a Florida law firm where she gained experience in insurance defense litigation. She also interned for the Humane Society of the United States in their Farm Animal Protection Department, the Irish Environmental Network, and the Bar of Ireland.
Lauren earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law with a certificate in Environmental, Land Use, and Real Estate Law, and she received the Pro Bono certificate for Outstanding Achievement. She was a student associate in the Conservation Clinic, the President of the UF Law Chapter of the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF), the President of the Environmental and Land Use Law Society, and Logistics Chair of the 2019 Public Interest Environmental Conference. Lauren received her Master of Laws in European Law and Public Affairs from the University College Dublin in Ireland and her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Psychology from the Florida Gulf Coast University.
