Biography

Rebekah Maddox Ditto is an Associate in our office in Tifton, Georgia, and she specializes in government liability and general liability matters. She has successfully argued before the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals and protects the rights of clients in a wide range of complex liability litigation.

Rebekah focuses her practice in the area of government liability and assists with the firm’s representation as County Attorney for Ben Hill, Berrien, Coffee, Tift, and Ware Counties. Rebekah brings to these positions experience with governmental entities in a wide array of liability settings. Rebekah has been called upon to address a variety of issues impacting government, including but not limited to Open Records, Human Resource Issues, Local Ordinances, and Elections.

Before joining Hall Booth Smith, Rebekah previously served as the Acting District Attorney, the Chief Assistant District Attorney, and an Assistant District Attorney for the Alapaha Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office.

Rebekah was formerly a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia, and a law clerk for the Alapaha Judicial Circuit.

Rebekah earned a Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics at the University of Georgia. Rebekah serves on the Board of Trustees for the Nashville United Methodist Church in Nashville, Georgia, and the Board of Directors of the Family Connection / Communities in Schools collaborative for Berrien County.

Rebekeh has extensive experience in government liability and general liability matters and previously served in increasingly senior roles for the Alapaha Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office. She has argued successfully before the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Governmental Liability

Rebekah represents government and municipal clients in a wide range of liability lawsuits and other complex litigation. She has extensive experience serving in the District Attorney’s Office for the Alapaha Judicial Circuit and held increasingly senior leadership roles in that capacity.
