Will Barillas
Biography
Will Barillas is an associate in our Atlanta office, focusing his practice in general liability, premises liability, and transportation matters.
Prior to joining HBS, Will served as an assistant solicitor in Gwinnett County, where he was in the courtroom daily arraigning cases, arguing suppression motions, and trying an assortment of misdemeanor cases including multiple DUI’s. He also interned with various litigation firms throughout law school gaining experience in different practice areas.
Will earned his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University, where he was a board member of Moot Court and a competitor on the Mock Trial Team. He also competed in several national advocacy competitions, winning his first National Championship and Best Overall Advocate Award at Hofstra’s National Medical-Legal Trial Competition in 2021. Will went on to win another Best Advocate Award in the 2022 All Star Bracket Challenge National Trial Competition. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the Order of the Barristers, an honorary organization that provides national recognition for individuals who have excelled in advocacy and service to their law schools. Will continues to serve with his alma mater’s trial program as a coach during his free time. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia.
