Hall Booth Smith Adds New Associates in Atlanta, Columbus and Nashville

ATLANTA & COLUMBUS, GA & NASHVILLE — Hall Booth Smith, P.C. has added four new associates to its offices in Atlanta and Columbus, Georgia, and Nashville, Tennessee, as the firm continues to grow its litigation practice across the Southeast.
Suzanne Lewis is an associate in the Atlanta office of Hall Booth Smith.  Her practice focuses on products liability, professional liability, premises liability and general liability. Ms. Lewis previously served a two-year clerkship as an Attorney Advisor for the Executive Office for Immigration Review in Fort Snelling, Minnesota, and she clerked for Chief Judge William T. Boyett in the Conasauga Judicial Circuit in northern Georgia. Earlier in her career, Ms. Lewis was a Fellow in the Georgia Governor’s Office of Constituent Services and a legal intern in the Georgia Governor’s Office of Consumer Protection. After she completed a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Georgia, Ms. Lewis earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the School of Law at the University of Georgia, during which time she was an executive editor of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law.
Nicholas J. Garcia is an associate in the Columbus office, with a growing practice focused on bankruptcy and creditor rights. He also specializes in corporate law and partnerships, and related matters such as contracts and deal negotiation and structuring. Before joining Hall Booth Smith, Mr. Garcia was a law clerk to the Honorable John T. Laney III, a U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge for the Middle District of Georgia, and together they co-authored bankruptcy articles published in the Mercer Law Review. Mr. Garcia received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia. While in law school, Mr. Garcia served as the Editor in Chief for the Mercer Law Review. Mr. Garcia is admitted to practice in Georgia.
Zachary Gureasko is an associate in the Nashville office, practicing in general liability, health care, professional negligence and medical malpractice and transactional practice areas. Mr. Gureasko received his Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law in 2017, completing a Health Law Certificate Program. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lee University, cum laude, with a double minor in Religion and Philosophy. Mr. Gureasko was the Content Editor for Belmont Law’s inaugural volume of the Practitioner’s Guide to Health Care Law and Policy. Mr. Gureasko is a member of the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the Nashville Bar Association.
Elizabeth Wise is an associate in the Nashville office of Hall Booth Smith, specializing in employment, general liability, governmental liability, and professional negligence and medical malpractice. Earlier in her career, Ms. Wise worked at Hatcher, Stubbs, Land, Hollis and Rothschild, LLP. In addition, she served as a term clerk for U.S. Magistrate Judge M. Stephen Hyles in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.  Ms. Wise graduated magna cum laude and with High Honors from the University of Georgia’s Franklin College of Arts and Sciences in 2011, and from Vanderbilt Law School in 2014. While in law school, Ms. Wise interned with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, U.S. District Court Judge R. David Proctor in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, and with the Nashville Legal Aid Society.
