Hall Booth Smith Charleston office has moved to a new location

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. is pleased to announce that its Charleston office has moved to a new location located in the heart of Charleston’s historic district.

Partners Jack Gresh and Alan Belcher will be representing clients at their new location of 40 Calhoun Street Suite 550, Charleston, SC 29401.

Mr. Gresh attended the University of Georgia for his degree in economics; he was awarded the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award and graduated cum laude. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law where he also graduated cum laude.  Mr. Gresh has defended multiple professional medical defendants in malpractice cases and has extensive experience in cases concerning obstetrical malpractice and neurologic injury. In addition to defending professional liability claims, Mr. Gresh is accomplished in cases concerning transportation, products liability, legal malpractice, and many other different types of civil litigation.

Mr. Belcher received his Juris Doctorate with a concentration in commercial business matters from West Virginia University College of Law. His practice focuses in various facets of construction and surety law. Mr. Belcher was selected a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Construction and Surety Law in 2012 by Thompson Reuters—awarded to only the top 2.5 percent of lawyers in his practice area. In the construction arena, Mr. Belcher works to resolve issues of performance or delay claims without litigation; however, to the extent that litigation is necessary, he is able to guide his clients by utilizing his years of experience as a trial attorney. His practice covers areas of construction, products liability, insurance coverage, and environment, mass torts & land use. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Belcher also counsels with insurance and business professionals on various legal topics.
