Hall Booth Smith Expands Beyond Southeast With New Jersey Offices, Adds Retired Judge Reddin as Partner

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. is opening a new office in New Jersey as the Atlanta-based litigation firm expands beyond the Southeast for the first time to serve clients in New Jersey & New York.

The firm is also pleased to announce that recently retired New Jersey Superior Court Judge Raymond Reddin is joining the firm as a partner.

HBS’s new office in Saddle Brook will be led by Drew Graham, partner who has been with the firm since 1992. Graham has extensive experience in medical and professional malpractice, aging services and long-term care litigation in addition to the full spectrum of other health care issues. Graham will continue to lead the Aging Services practice group and will remain active in matters across the firm.

Reddin, who recently retired as a judge after serving on the bench for 16 years, is joining the firm as a partner in the new office in Saddle Brook. He will lead HBS’s mediation and arbitration practice group in addition to working on active shooter and workplace violence matters.

The New Jersey location bring Hall Booth Smith’s total number of offices to 16, and mark the firm’s first foray beyond the Southeast as the firm approaches its 30th anniversary. During his tenure with New Jersey Superior Courts, Reddin presided over complex and high-profile cases including numerous medical malpractice claims and violent sexual predator cases. He also oversaw civil matters including serving as an Election Day judge, performing civil commitments and issuing gun permits.

Earlier in his career, Reddin was the attorney for the Passaic County Police Academy and the Totowa Board of Education. He was also a criminal defense attorney who tried more than 100 cases in state and federal courts. Reddin earned a Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law.
