Hall Booth Smith Hires J. Drew Piersa in North Palm Beach Office
NORTH PALM BEACH, FL – June 8, 2020 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. is pleased to announce that J. Drew Piersa has joined our office in North Palm Beach, Florida, as the firm expands its medical malpractice, aging services and health care defense services.
Piersa is an Associate who concentrates his practice on aging services, dental, health care, medical malpractice, general liability, labor and employment, and professional malpractice and ethics matters.
Prior to joining HBS, Piersa was a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corp and stationed at Special Operations Command South. He served as legal counsel for two-star general officers and assisted with the employment of Special Operations Forces (SOF) missions in Central and South America and the Caribbean. He continues to serve as a Reservist and helps servicemembers, veterans, and their families with a wide array of legal issues.
Earlier in his career, Piersa worked as an Assistant State Attorney for Florida and prosecuted felony and misdemeanor cases in Broward and Brevard counties. He earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Research and Statistics from the University of Central Florida, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida.
