Hall Booth Smith is Pleased to Announce Joanna McCracken as a New Associate in the Nashville Office

Hall Booth Smith (HBS) is excited to announce the addition of Joanna McCracken as an associate. McCracken has been with HBS since Fall of 2011, serving as a legal assistant to partners Karl Braun and Buck Cole. She will be joining our Entertainment/IP, General Liability, Medical Malpractice and Business Litigation practice groups.

McCracken has extensive experience working as a legal assistant with four different law offices in areas of criminal, civil, family law, and probate practices. She also brings to HBS a diverse industry background and great knowledge of Nashville’s entertainment industry, working previously as a publishing manager and copyright administrator for Tom Collins. With over 5 years’ experience as a real estate broker, McCracken’s business and contract expertise will be significant in her success as dynamic attorney at HBS.

Originally from London, McCracken earned her B.A. in African Studies emphasizing in Swahili from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London University, in London, England. She has lived in Tanzania and has traveled extensively with her family. She received her J.D this year from the Nashville School of Law. With over two years at HBS, we are confident in her abilities and welcome her to the HBS team.
