HBS Adds Baxter Drennon as Partner in Little Rock, Arkansas
LITTLE ROCK, ARK. – NOV. 29, 2021 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. is delighted to announce that seasoned trial attorney Baxter D. Drennon is joining the firm as a Partner in the recently opened office in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Baxter has more than a decade of legal experience, and he specializes in complex litigation and high-exposure cases involving vehicle accidents, products liability, and professional liability. He has served as lead counsel in hundreds of cases and as trial counsel in over a dozen cases, many of which resulted in complete defense verdicts.
His practice includes the representation of product manufacturers across a number of industries including aerospace, automotive, heating and cooling, electrical components, and vertical transportation. In addition to handling complex litigation, Baxter also counsels clients on commercial disputes and contractual matters, as well as day-to-day business and operational issues.
Baxter also serves as the City Attorney for Benton, Arkansas, and he has a vibrant practice representing municipal water and wastewater entities. He worked as legal counsel in the first privatization of a water utility on a military installation in Arkansas.
Baxter earned a JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Arkansas and a BA in political science from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
Baxter is the President of the Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel and a National Director for DRI, the leading organization of civil defense attorneys and in-house counsel.
