HBS Welcomes Ms. Dana Cohen and Mr. Nathan Gaffney to the Atlanta Office
Hall Booth Smith (HBS) is pleased to welcome two new associates to the Atlanta office. Ms. Dana Cohen and Mr. Nathan Gaffney are now representing clients in their new practices at HBS.
Dana Cohen joined the firm in March 2013. Receiving her J.D. from Emory University in 2011, Dana brings a great deal of varied experience to Hall, Booth, Smith. Dana received the W. Richard Smith Founder’s Award for Excellence in Legal Research and Writing as well as the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in Kids in Conflict with the Law while in law school. Prior to joining HBS, Dana clerked for the Henry County Superior Court. Dana will be representing clients in the Medical Malpractice and Long Term Care Practice Groups.
Nathan joined the firm in March 2013. His practice focuses on medical malpractice, hospital litigation, and general litigation. Nathan graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University’s College of Law in 2009. During law school, he served as the Executive Editor of the Georgia State University Law Review and as an extern for the Supreme Court of Georgia and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. After law school, Nathan served two years as a Staff Attorney for the State Court of Forsyth County. Prior to joining HBS, Nathan represented numerous clients in insurance defense matters and has tried several serious criminal cases. Nathan brings a wide-ranging amount of knowledge and experience to the Medical Malpractice, Dental, and Criminal Practice Groups.
