HBS Tampa Adds Associates Lauren Thomas & Anne Semmons
TAMPA, FLORIDA – October 28, 2022 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is pleased to welcome Associates Lauren K. Thomas and Anne E. Semmons to its Tampa office as the firm expands to serve its clients in the state of Florida.
Lauren focuses her practice on general liability and medical malpractice matters. Previously, Lauren was a Summer Associate at HBS. Lauren earned her J.D. from Belmont University College of Law, where she was a member of the Health Law Transactional Moot Court Board. In addition, she served as a Community Outreach Coordinator, Vice President, and Peer Mentor for the Women’s Legal Society and was a member of the American Inn of Court. Lauren also holds a B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Kentucky.
Anne focuses her practice on the defense of aging services, general liability, medical malpractice and premises liability matters. Previously, Anne was a Law Clerk at HBS where she gained experience in Chapter 400 and Chapter 429 matters, as well as arbitration, premises liability, and general liability disputes. Anne earned a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law with a certificate of concentration in environmental law. During law school, she was a Student Editor for the Journal of International Wildlife Law & Policy, the Vice President of the Environmental Law Society, and a research assistant. In addition, Anne holds a B.A. in Political Science from Stetson University.
