Women’s Event at the Brunswick Office

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. held a successful summer networking event, Women of Law and Women of Medicine, in the Brunswick office. This event, organized by partner Beth Boone and associate Christina Jones from the Brunswick office, was used to promote networking between female professionals in the Golden Isles area. Ms. Boone practices in the areas of professional negligence and medical malpractice defense as well as probate, estate planning and administration, trusts, fiduciary law, and general civil litigation. With over 20 years of experience, Ms. Boone is licensed and practices in both Georgia and Tennessee. Guests included attorneys, clerks, judges, physicians, nurses, claims representatives, and risk managers from Savannah, Brunswick, and St. Simons—combining to make the event boast 60-70 guests in attendance. Three pieces of art were given away: two framed shell sketches and one framed marsh view acrylic on canvas. These were provided by St. Simons artist Ann Lee. There was also music provided by HBS attorney Steve Bristol and his father, Dr. William (“Bill”) Bristol, who specializes in pediatrics in the Brunswick area. We extend heartfelt gratitude to all those who made this event possible and we look forward to making it an annual occasion.
