HBS Hires Three Attorneys in Georgia
ATLANTA – July 6, 2021 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is pleased to welcome three new attorneys to its offices in Georgia as the firm expands to meet the needs of clients across the Southeast.
Christopher J. Watkins is Of Counsel in Atlanta and has extensive experience as a litigator for construction, insurance coverage, transportation, and general liability matters. He represents contractors, subcontractors, and insurers in a wide range of disputes. He has also handled many liability evaluations, damage estimates, and coverage assessments for a wide variety of claims. Prior to joining HBS, Watkins was an attorney at a boutique litigation firm in the Atlanta area, where he focused on wrongful death and catastrophic injury claims. He is also a member of the Georgia Army National Guard and currently serves as the Command Judge Advocate for the 78th Troop Command based in Marietta, Georgia.
Watkins earned a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, and a M.P.A. and a B.A. from North Georgia College & State University. He is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Christopher Freeman, Jr. is an Associate in Atlanta and represents clients in corporate and partnership matters, business litigation, labor and employment, and general liability cases. He also protects the interests of clients in government affairs matters, and defends municipalities and agencies in governmental liability litigation. Prior to joining HBS, Freeman was a staff attorney in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, a legal intern in the Government Services & Employment Division of the Office of the Attorney General in Atlanta and he was a judicial intern for the Honorable Kimberly M. Esmond Adams of Fulton County Superior Court.
Freeman earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law and a B.B.A. with a major in economics and a Certificate of Legal Studies from the University of Georgia.
Krysta Grymes is an Associate in Brunswick who focuses her practice on aging services and medical malpractice defense. Prior to joining HBS, Grymes was a judicial staff attorney for the Oconee Judicial Circuit and a legal intern in the Office of the General Counsel at Atrium Health Navicent.
Grymes earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University and completed a B.S. in Psychology at the University of Florida.
