Hotel Business Review: Danielle Dudai on the Signs of Human Trafficking in Hotels
In an article published earlier this month in Hotel Executive’s Hotel Business Review, West Palm Beach of Counsel Danielle Dudai writes about the signs of human trafficking in hotels, how to look for warning signs, and ways that hotel leadership and staff should be trained to prevent trafficking in their hotels.
“Ongoing training and support to staff members should be provided by the hotel to ensure that they are able to effectively balance guest privacy and monitoring for suspicious activity,” wrote Danielle. “This includes providing refresher courses, updates on new trends or indicators of human trafficking, and opportunities for staff members to ask questions and share their experiences. By providing comprehensive training on how to recognize and report human trafficking, hotels can play a critical role in preventing this heinous crime.”
