HBS Athens Adds Associate Emma Hamlet
Hall Booth Smith is proud to expand its Athens office with Associate Emma Hamlet.
Emma focuses on general liability, governmental liability, medical malpractice, and premises liability matters. Prior to joining HBS, she was an Associate at a full-service firm where she performed all phases of litigation including investigating and reporting after catastrophic loss, case evaluation, discovery, responsive motions, and trial preparation in civil litigation, insurance defense, and insurance coverage matters. During law school, she externed with The Coca-Cola Company, where she focused on trademark and intellectual property issues. She also externed for the Honorable Paul W. Bonapfel at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia, for the Honorable Lawton E. Stephens at the Western Circuit Superior Court, and with Augusta University’s Office of Legal Affairs.
Emma earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia, where she was a notes editor of the Georgia Journal of International & Comparative Law. She earned her Bachelor of Music from Miami University.
