S. Tyler Normandia
Biography
Tyler Normandia is an associate in our Athens office, where he focuses his practice on general liability, medical malpractice, and premises liability matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Tyler served as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas “Britt” Hammond of the Toombs Judicial Circuit of Georgia, where he honed his research and writing skills and gained valuable insight into the judicial process. He also served as an assistant district attorney for the Toombs Judicial Circuit and Western Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor, Tyler tried several misdemeanor and felony jury trials and gained extensive courtroom and appellate experience over hundreds of criminal cases, handling everything from juvenile traffic tickets up to murder cases.
Tyler earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Georgia Southern University. He married his high school sweetheart, and they have one daughter and reside in Athens. Tyler enjoys playing guitar, going to concerts, attempting to golf, and watching Georgia Southern football.
