Kelsey Heino
Biography
Kelsey Heino is an associate in our Raleigh office who focuses her practice in medical malpractice matters.
Prior to joining HBS, Kelsey gained experience as an associate at a trial firm, where she second-chaired a diverse case load of multi-million dollar medical malpractice matters. She was also selected as an insurer’s primary counsel for treating provider depositions related to the Camp Lejeune Justice Act litigation. Before defending medical malpractice matters, she focused her practice on employment litigation defense at a Midwest based firm and there second-chaired an $11 million non-compete and confidentiality agreement trial.
Kelsey earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Nebraska, where she earned first place in the Client Counseling Competition. She also was a National Merit Scholar at Iowa State University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in History.
