Two Attorneys to Join the HBS Asheville Office
The HBS Asheville office is growing with the addition of two new attorneys, Alejandro Jose “Alex” Calderon and Michael R. Cline.
About the Attorneys
Alejandro Jose “Alex” Calderon
Alex focuses his practices on general liability, governmental liability, and medical malpractice law. Before joining HBS, Alex served as a summer associate with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps, where he gained valuable experience in military criminal law from both prosecutorial and defense perspectives. He also handled diverse civil matters, including family law, landlord-tenant disputes, and contract issues. Additionally, Alex worked with a Jacksonville law firm, where he developed experience in civil litigation areas such as governmental liability, real estate disputes, and corporate law.
Michael R. Cline
Michael practices in general liability and medical malpractice matters. Prior to joining HBS, Michael clerked for the Honorable Donna Stroud with the North Carolina Court of Appeals. After the clerkship, he continued working with the North Carolina Court of Appeals as a staff attorney. While in law school, he gained experience working as a law clerk with a Greensboro business firm.
“Both Alex and Michael are exceptional attorneys who will bring incredible value to our clients in Asheville and throughout North Carolina,” said Managing Partner Adam Peoples.
