Hall Booth Smith Welcomes Associate Melina Lettieri to Birmingham Office

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is pleased to welcome Melina Lettieri as an Associate in its Birmingham office, where she focuses her practice on general liability and medical malpractice defense.

“We are pleased to welcome Melina back after having the opportunity to work with her during her time as a summer law clerk,” said Robert M. “Robby” Ronnlund, Partner in the Birmingham office. “She impressed our team with her work ethic, enthusiasm, and dedication to the legal profession. We look forward to watching Melina continue to grow and succeed.”

Melina returns to HBS after spending two summers with the firm as a law clerk, where she gained hands-on experience conducting legal research, drafting legal memoranda, and attending arbitrations, depositions, and mediations. She also gained additional legal experience at another Birmingham-area law firm, further strengthening her research and legal writing skills.

Melina earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. During law school, she served as a student materials editor for the law review, competed on the national trial team, and served as director of The Williams Trial Competition. She was also an academic success advisor and a member of the career development advisory board.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Law and Justice, summa cum laude, from Auburn University, with a minor in Sociology. While at Auburn, Melina served as president and team captain of the university’s mock trial competition team.

Melina is admitted to practice law in Alabama.
