Hall Booth Smith Florida Attorneys Recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine
In the 2018 edition of the Florida Super Lawyers magazine, the law firm of Hall Booth Smith (HBS) has been recognized for its outstanding legal work as two of its attorneys are on the list of Super Lawyers and one Rising Star: Jill Bechtold and Duke Regan of the Jacksonville, FL office; S. William Fuller, Jr. of the Tallahassee office. The list recognizes outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Super Lawyers recognizes no more than five percent of attorneys in each state.

Jacksonville partner Jill Bechtold is being recognized as a Super Lawyer for her outstanding work in professional liability defense. This is Ms. Bechtold’s third time being recognized by Super Lawyers magazine, along with being recognized by the magazine as a Rising Star for four years previously. Ms. Bechtold practices in the area of civil litigation focusing on medical and professional liability defense, employment disputes, product liability defense, business litigation, trucking litigation and insurance defense. Her clients include drug and medical device companies, business owners, physicians, hospitals, trucking carriers and insurers. She is experienced in defending professional licensure actions, including defending medical physicians in Department of Health investigations, and licensed companies in Department of Business and Professional Regulation actions.
Tallahassee partner S. William Fuller, Jr. is being recognized by the Super Lawyers list for his outstanding work in personal injury medical malpractice defense. He has received this recognition since 2009. Mr. Fuller is a seasoned trial lawyer with more than 40 years of experience. During his career he has tried over 180 cases representing individual and corporate clients in medical malpractice defense, professional malpractice defense, insurance defense, products liability defense and trucking liability defense. He is also AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell and was named one of Florida Trend magazine’s Legal Elite.
Partner Duke Regan in Jacksonville is being honored as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine in personal injury medical malpractice defense. He has received this recognition for the past three years. Mr. Regan has represented individual and corporate defendants in medical negligence, correctional health care, and personal injury claims including a number of cases successfully tried to verdict. He has served as lead counsel in circuit civil, appellate, and administrative courts. Mr. Regan is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been listed on Florida Trend’s Legal Elite.
