HBS Adds Associates David R. Carducci & Billy Fawcett to Its Atlanta Office
ATLANTA, GA – August 31, 2022 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is delighted to welcome David R. Carducci and Billy Fawcett as Associates to its growing Atlanta Office.
David focuses his practice on civil rights, employment, immigration, sentencing, direct and non-direct criminal, state and federal habeas corpus, and civil litigation cases.
Before joining HBS, David served as a staff attorney in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, where he drafted recommendations, opinions, and orders for judges and panels and helped manage cases. He was also a judicial extern for Presiding Judge M. Yvette Miller of the Georgia Court of Appeals and a legal extern at Georgia Lawyers for the Arts.
David earned his J.D., cum laude, from George State University College of Law. During his time in law school, he was on the Editorial Board of the Georgia State University Law Review, was a pupil member of the Atlanta IP Inn of Court, and won a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Advanced Legal Research and History of the Common Law courses. David earned his B.A. in History from Michigan State University.
Billy focuses his practice on the defense of insureds and insurers in a variety of general liability and motor vehicle claims. He has also advised insurers on obligations pre-litigation and defended and counseled employers in labor and employment matters.
While earning his J.D. from the Georgia State University College of Law, Billy was an Associate Student Writing Editor for the Georgia State University Law Review and a graduate research assistant for Professor Andrea Curcio. He also holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Georgia.
