Abe Varner is an associate in the Atlanta office. He is a litigator whose practice focuses on the defense of large hospital systems and healthcare providers, and on insurance coverage matters and litigation.  He also maintains a broad litigation practice, which includes the defense of premises liability accidents, negligent security cases, motor vehicle accidents, major property loss and subrogation cases, product liability cases, and construction disputes.

He earned his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law, magna cum laude, and his B.A. from the University of Georgia, magna cum laude.  While in law school, he served as an Editor on the Georgia State University Law Review. Mr. Varner was an Extern for Hon. Chief Justice Hugh Thompson, Georgia Supreme Court, and for the Hon. Judge Shawn LaGrua, Fulton County Superior Court.  While in law school, Mr. Varner also assisted in prosecuting felony crimes with the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office under Georgia’s Third- Year Practice Act. He graduated law school with the honor of receiving the highest pro bono distinction by dedicating 150 hours to pro bono work.
