Biography

Alexandra “Allie” Ah Loy is a Partner in our Oklahoma City office who focuses her practice on health care law, correctional medicine, medical malpractice, civil rights law, professional board defense, dental law, employment law, general liability, appellate law, and premises liability. She also serves as Hiring Partner for the West, where she oversees associate attorney hiring endeavors.

Prior to joining HBS, Allie worked as Partner in two mid-size insurance defense firms, where she practiced 42 U.S.C. § 1983 civil rights, medical malpractice, personal injury, dental, professional board defense, and health care law matters. Previously, she served as Chief Legal Officer for a health care company, before returning to private practice to defend that company in litigation. She now serves as national defense counsel for multiple correctional healthcare companies.

Allie became a Certified Correctional Healthcare Professional through the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC). She earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Oklahoma City University with a Certificate of Accomplishment in Legal Research Skills and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Business Planning and Antitrust Law. She also earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma with minors in French and Public Administration.
