Brittanie Browning is an Associate in our office in Atlanta, and she focuses her practice on appellate, general liability, and government liability matters.
Before joining HBS in 2019, Brittanie was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia in the Education, Election, Government, and Judiciary section. She is actively involved in the Young Lawyer’s Division (YLD) of the State Bar and currently sits on the YLD Executive Committee. Brittanie was awarded the YLD’s Award of Achievement for Outstanding Service to the Public in 2018 and 2019. Brittanie is involved with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and assists with their annual Legal Food Frenzy to generate donations to support food banks during the summer months. Brittanie is member of the CLE Board of Trustees with the Atlanta Bar Association.
Brittanie earned a Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law graduating with Pro Bono Distinction. During law school, she was awarded the Critical Language Scholarship for Korean by the U.S. Department of State. While in law school, Brittanie interned with the Office of State Administrative Hearings and with Judge Kimberly Esmond Adams of Fulton County Superior Court.
Brittanie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Georgia State University. She was placed on the President’s List and graduated with distinction in the major.
