Brooke Taylor
Biography
Brooke Taylor is an Associate in our office in Jacksonville, Florida, and she concentrates her practice on medical malpractice, health care, correctional health care, and general liability matters.
Earlier in her career, she was a judicial extern to Chief Justice Charles T. Canady of the Florida Supreme Court, where she reviewed and made recommendations on petitions for discretionary review, prepared memos on pending cases, and conducted legal research. Brooke also interned for United States District Court Judge Harvey E. Schlesinger in Jacksonville, Florida, and she worked in the Office of General Counsel for the City of Jacksonville.
Brooked earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law. During law school, she was a member of the Florida Moot Court Team that won the Florida Bar Annual Moot Court Competition and was recognized as the best oral advocate. She was also Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy and a teaching assistant in Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy, and she received book awards in both Appellate Advocacy and the Juvenile Civil Clinic. Brooke also holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of Florida.
