Cayton S. Chrisman is an Associate in our Atlanta office, and she concentrates her practice on medical malpractice defense, insurance coverage and litigation, coronavirus litigation, and professional malpractice and ethics. She also protects the rights of clients in batch claims and class actions, general liability litigation, and premises liability litigation.

Earlier in her career, Cayton was a summer associate at Hall Booth Smith and a judicial extern for the Chief Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. She was also a student attorney at the Barton Juvenile Defender Clinic in Atlanta and a legal intern at The Coca-Cola Company.

Cayton earned a Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law, where she served as the Director-in-Chief of Emory Law’s Moot Court Society and competed in the Annual Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition. Cayton received the Pro Bono Publico award for her public service contributions and earned the Technological Innovation: Generating Economic Results (TI:GER) Certificate from Emory Law and the Georgia Institute of Technology. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in marketing with a minor in international business from the University of South Florida.
