Earlier in his career, Wylly was a summer associate at Hall Booth Smith and he was a judicial clerk intern for the Honorable Clay D. Land in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. He also served as a constituent services intern in the Washington, D.C. office of United States Senator Johnny Isakson.

Wylly earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he worked on the editorial board and was articles editor of the Georgia Law Review. He also completed a Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, in public policy leadership at the University of Mississippi, where he was a recipient of the school’s highest academic honor, the Marcus Elvis Taylor Memorial Medal.
