Biography

Jacob Raehn is a Partner in the Atlanta office of Hall Booth Smith. A native of Hilton Head Island, SC, he received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and his B.A. from Clemson University. During law school, he was awarded the Luther Lee Award for Trial practice and he served as Chief Justice of the Moot Court Bar. He was also a member of the John Belton O’Neal Inn of Court, served as a law student ambassador, student body representative and peer mentor.

Before joining HBS, Mr. Raehn worked as a law clerk, summer associate, and then associate attorney for a national litigation firm where he focused on high stakes medical malpractice cases. He has successfully second-chaired trials spanning Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. He has extensive experience with complex litigation on a national scale.
