Charles “Jake” Taylor
Biography
Jake Taylor is an Associate in our Charlotte office, where he practices in business litigation, general liability, governmental liability, and medical malpractice matters.
Previously, Jake was a summer associate with HBS. He also externed at the Wake County District Attorney’s Office, where he successfully tried multiple bench trials, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina in the Civil Division. In addition, he interned for U.S. Congressman G.K. Butterfield.
Jake earned his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina, where he was a competing member of the Appellate Advocacy Team with Holderness Moot Court, representing in competitions in New York and London. He was also a staff member of the North Carolina Banking Journal. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a volunteer youth basketball coach with the Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation Department.
