HBS Charlotte Adds Attorneys Lea McBryde & Charles “Jake” Taylor
Hall Booth Smith Charlotte is excited to welcome Attorneys Lea McBryde and Charles “Jake” Taylor to its office.
Lea McBryde
Lea focuses her practice on data privacy and cybersecurity matters. Prior to joining HBS, she interned for the Honorable Terrence W. Boyle with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. She was also the head of fundraising for the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi in 2019 and an advancement officer for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
Charles “Jake” Taylor
Jake practices in business litigation, general liability, and governmental liability matters. Previously, Jake was a summer associate with HBS. He also externed at the Wake County District Attorney’s Office, where he successfully tried multiple bench trials, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina in the Civil Division. In addition, he interned for U.S. Congressman G.K. Butterfield.
